Job Centre Australia Limited is a non-profit organisation providing
employment and training solutions across NSW. We have provided
specialist employment services to people with barriers for over 17
years.
We provide the following programmes:
Our objective is to help our clients find employment, learn the
job, and provide personal ongoing assistance so they keep the job.
We have
- Small caseloads.
- Staff trained in Disability Awareness, Mental Healthy First
Aid, Mentoring, Case Management and Workplace Training and
Assessment.
- Supportive environment and job searching facilities &
assessment.
- Flexible Service Delivery.
What We Provide across all programmes
We are an employment service specialising in the placement and
support of persons with a disability; who need short to medium term
assistance in finding and maintaining a job in open employment
(award rates of pay).
We provide:
- One on one individual Case Management
- Provision of a "Job Club" - ongoing assessment through
individual job search modules (resume writing, application
letters, communication skills, motivational workshops,
networking etc), job search coaching, work experience,
intensive one on one and group job seeking training.
- Skills audit & resume preparation
- Individual achievable employment goal setting.
- Employer Wage Subsidies, access to supported wages and
workplace modifications to assist in sustaining on-going
employment (subject to eligibility).
- Assistance financially with travel fares to interviews,
interview clothing and work clothing (subject to eligibility).
- Post placement support
- Access to the Disabled Apprenticeship and Traineeship System
