Disability Employment Services
Transition To Work

Our Disability Employment Network service is targeted at jobseekers with disabilities that are permanent, or likely to be permanent, and need ongoing support to gain and maintain employment.

DEN Service for Employers

By utilising the largely untapped potential of people with a disability, we have assisted many employers with difficult-to-fill entry level positions.

HIRING A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY MAKES GOOD BUSINESS SENSE

What are the benefits to you?

  • Lower staff turnover
  • Better team environment
  • Improved quality
  • Motivated employees
  • EEO assistance
  • Quality customer service

Four steps to hiring a person with a disability

  1. JOB ANALYSIS
An trainer will visit your work site and perform the job to gain a thorough understanding of the skills and abilities required.
  2. JOB MATCHING
With our understanding of your workplace we can then identify suitable jobseekers. We provide you with their details for you to consider.
  3. HIRING DECISION
Once you've met the jobseeker you can choose to trial them in the position. The decision to hire is yours.
  4. TRAINING
Our trainer remains at your workplace training your new employee, liaising with you throughout. After the initial training the trainer will provide ongoing support as and when needed.
